I just realized how long it has been since I "blogged"! lol
We are doing well. My babies keep me busy and I havent been able to get on here in a while. If you follow me on Facebook, You will see that we have become world travellers!! :) We have a church in KY voting on us tomorrow. Please pray for God's will. Honestly, I am praying God says yes!!! We have been living with my inlaws since July, 2010. Even though we get along great, I am sure you understand that it is hard for 2 families to live in one house! I am very thankful that they have allowed us to stay here. They have really helped us over the past few months. Their love and support have been wonderful.
Abigail is doing great. She loves to stand and hold on to the couch, cabinet, chair, etc. But is very sensitive!!! :)
Alex is my big man! He is always saying something funny!!! I am "homeschooling" him as much as possible right now. He does alright. He just cant figure out which hand he wants to write with! lol
Aaron is my big teddy bear! He is on Singulair because his tonsils are too large for his age. A side affect is mood change... more edgy! He has his moments, but it hasnt affected him too bad. He is in his terrible 2's. But he is mommy's baby!!!
God has continued to provide for us since Stan lost his job in April 2009. God is truly a Faithful God!!

My big 4 year old... Alex!!!!
My baby boy turned 4 years old on March 7th. He had a fun birthday party at McDonald's with his "Cars" cake!!! The picture of a "big" cake is actually cupcakes covered with icing to look like a cake. I think it is a cute idea, but do not recommend it... very hard to pick up the cupcakes and way too much icing!!! :0 He had alot of fun, though with all his cousins! I am so proud of him!!!

She is here!!!
Abigail Grace Roberson was born Wednesday, February 3, 2010 at 1:44 pm via C-section. She weighed 5lbs 7oz and 18.3 inches long. She is beautiful!!! She has alot of the "Porter look" :) Yay me!! lol
I always loved the name we chose for her, but God (via my mother in law) gave me a different point of view of her name!
Stan and I were trying to come to a decision about whether I should try to have another child down the road, or get my tubes tied. This is actually a question that I think a pregnant woman should never be asked!!! :0 We decided to just wait and see, so we told my dr not to tie them while I was in surgery. That Monday and Tuesday night before she was born, I kept feeling pain in my stomache (kinda like a bladder infection with contractions). It kept me up all night. Finally, Wednesday morning, I called the dr. Went in and told him about my pain. He put me on the monitor for only about 30 minutes. when he came in and told me we would deliver about lunch time. It really scared me that he seemed so concerned. He had checked my cervix and realized her head was really low. So, he sent us to the hospital. We had the c section and Abi was sent to the NICU to be monitored for respiratory distress and the fact that I had the gestational diabetes. As the dr was leaving, he came to talk to us. He told me that my uteran wall is thin and it might have ruptured had Abi stayed in much longer! This really scared us! We told him that if we had realized that, we would have had him tie my tubes. He told me he can do that at my 6 wk appt., in the office, and not leave an incision!!! wow!!!
We brought Abi home when she was 3 days old!!! It was so nice to bring her home with me and not leave her in the NICU.
God gave us a clear answer! I cannot carry a baby past 36 weeks and that has been proven! The Lord spared us and I am so thankful!
Stan is going to ECPI for computer networking. This program is for 1 1/2 yr. This schooling will allow his unemployment to continue! I am so thankful for that. He will go to school Monday thru Thursdays 5:30-10pm. He will start March 1st!!! This gives him the feeling of purpose in life. he needs that! Now, we need to pray that God will give him a job, then us a place to live... so on.
But I cannot deny that God has always provided and continues to provide!
I hope you have a wonderful week everyone!!!

35 weeks.... Not much longer!
Wow, didnt realize I had gotten so far behind in my blog!! I'm sorry! I am finally getting over my cold that I have had for 2 weeks.
This week in my pregnancy email, "Your baby doesnt have much room to manuever now that she is over 18 inches long and tips the scales at 51/2 lbs. Because its so snug in your womb, she isn't likely to be doing somersaults anymore, but the number of times she kicks should remain the same. Her kidneys are fully developed now and her liver can process some waste products. Most of her basic physical development is now complete."
That last sentence is comforting, because I am having on / off preterm labor! I went to the dr today and they are not going to stop my labor, nor are they gonna speed it up. So when I go into full blown labor they will deliver me!
Please keep us in your prayers.

31 weeks....
Went to the dr today and was thrilled!! We had an ultrasound to see how Abigail is growing and she is perfect! She weighs about 3lbs 15oz!!! So, the dr estimated that she will weigh about 71/2 lbs when born. In the sonogram, she had her hand over one side of her face, and my heart ached to hold her! It was an adorable picture.
We are still praying about New York. Please keep us in your prayers.
